Celebrating a refreshing take on local banking

Once the site of “roller mills” that processed grain, Fourth Capital’s new neighborhood of Rolling Mill Hill has a rich history. The founders wanted to ensure that the brand collateral felt distinct and true to their local roots, so I had fun incorporating subtle references to their unique location and story.

One of the first projects was creating a suite of card designs and card holders. The design incorporates silhouettes of the machined steel cylinders from the historic flour mill and an abstract interpretation of the headquarter’s marbled surfaces.
We also developed a flip-book to celebrate Fourth Capital’s business principles for the launch of the brand and new headquarters. Similar to a classic desk calendar, each page has a notes section and an engaging prompt. Working closely with the production and press team, we created some nice gloss and metallic effects.

When Fourth Capital's new headquarters opened, the flip-books were given to everyone in the office to kick off the brand launch. This project also won a Silver Addy for Print Collateral from the American Advertising Awards.
